Elegant antique French French Papier-Mâché Music Stand dating from circa 1880.

Beautifully made in papier-mâché with black lacquer finish, gilt decoration, and fine mother-of-pearl inlay. The shaped top features a hand-painted floral panel. A rare and decorative piece with great presence.

Raised on a turned column with tripod base.

Condition
Good antique condition with age-related wear, losses, marks, and signs of use. Please study the photographs carefully.
