Pair of neoclassical armchairs in black lacquer finish, circa 1940. Each has a round wicker comb rail that continues into carved rosette arm joints, upright carved swans connecting the reupholstered back and seat cushion with silver nailhead detailing. The apron has floral medallion carving.
