Art Nouveau Room Screen with Embroidered Floral Panels, circa 1900
lthree-panel Art Nouveau room screen dating from around 1900. The screen features hand-embroidered floral motifs with elegant flowing lines, typical of the Art Nouveau period. Each panel displays a different flowering plant surrounded by decorative borders within a warm wooden frame.
The reverse side is finished with fabric panels, and the screen folds easily, making it suitable as a room divider, dressing screen, or decorative statement piece.
The screen shows age-related wear, including a small repair to the fabric, a tear and stains to the reverse side, and minor wear to the wooden frame, all consistent with its age. Please see the photographs for details.
