A striking late 19th-century Dutch coulisse center table designed by Matthijs Horrix for the renowned cabinetmakers Horrix Den Haag, dating to the 1890s. The table features a beautifully hand-carved solid walnut base in the Black Forest manner, combined with its original carved and inlaid top, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship for which Horrix is celebrated.
The table remains in very good original condition, displaying minor wear consistent with age and use and retaining a rich, attractive patina.
