An exceptionally rare pair of 19th-century Chinoiserie Linen Cupboards wardrobes, finished in black lacquer with hand-painted gilt oriental scenes depicting pagodas, landscapes, pavilions, and figures.

Each wardrobe features a large mirrored door, a lower drawer, and an interior hanging rail for clothing. The elegant proportions and decorative lacquerwork make these wardrobes highly suitable for a bedroom, dressing room, or high-end interior project.

The original mirror plates have developed age-related fading and foxing, giving the glass a beautiful antique character. The lacquer surfaces display signs of wear consistent with age and use.
