Rare Biedermeier Mahogany Daybed / Child’s Bed – Circa 1820

A beautifully crafted and rare Biedermeier bed, dating from around 1820 and made from fine mahogany. This elegant piece features exquisite detailing, including bobbin-turned elements and harmoniously carved mouldings along the frame. It stands on its original antique castors and is fitted with a clever click-lock system, allowing the sides to open and close with ease.

Originally designed as a child’s bed (or cradle), it also makes a stunning statement as a decorative bench or even a luxury dog bed for a refined interior.
