Rare English Georgian Pawnbroker's Sign – c.1810
A truly striking and original decorative piece from early 19th-century England. This genuine Georgian pawnbroker’s sign, dating to around c.1810, features an elaborate wrought iron bracket with exceptional detailing and craftsmanship.
The piece retains its original verdigris copper balls, a rare and iconic feature, showing attractive age-related wear and some small dents consistent with its age and use (see photos).
An outstanding example of antique English trade signage, perfect as a decorative statement for interiors, shops, or collectors of period architectural elements.
